hey guys Im looking to get either one of these if you could give me some insight on either it would be great cause you guys really are the only people i trust for gear reviews on the internet anymore.

From the other thread, neither of those may fit the "green" criteria.  I'm positive the Jet City is made in China, and pretty sure the Peavey is too.  China isn't exactly known for environmentally friendly mfg. processes.

this was a totally different thread but ya thats one of the reasons for developing an american made green amp.

I believe Max is playing the Jet City these days, and could provide some informed input on the quality of that box.

Mine is a nice sounding amp, seems well-built. The gain can get a bit fizzy, but that may be the tubes, which I plan on changing out eventually. It does not get much clean headroom.
