Hello everyone,

Edit: This problem has been caused by a stuff up in citibank, so not a problem with warmoth. They haven't actually received the payment. After about 1 month, the money has now bounced back into my account.

old post:
It has been 12 days since I made the payment using bank transfer. I live overseas(Australia) so I guess it is supposed to take a little longer. But how long is it supposed to be?
In my account on warmoth website, the order status still shows under review, and show zero received payment after 12 days.
I checked with my bank and they said that the transfer has been successful. I emailed warmoth twice since then asking if they have received the payment, and did not receive any reply.
I was wondering if anyone else have had such experience, is it supposed to take this long?

I'm in oz too, but pay using a credit card.

I would say that they have it, if the bank says so.
When I use my c/card, it gets accepted ie: dollars taken.
But it showed in my Warmoth account "still under review" like yours is saying.

Pretty sure the dollars are taken when the sale of the items is almost complete. :ie just prior to shipping out.
I did look at bank statements to see the dates when $$$$$$ actually taken from.
Which confirmed that.

That could be a safe guard on there side of things.
Sometimes a body or neck might have a flaw in the build process, and needs to be started again.
(That happened to me one time)
But when I got it she was a beauty  :icon_biggrin:

I'd say all is good to go.  :icon_thumright:

Suppose you saw this ...

When making a wire transfer of funds, please request that all wire transfer fees be charged to your account and not against the payment amount.

So what are you building ?  :toothy10:

Credit cards are instantaneous. Wire transfers usually take place within an hour or so. Interbank transfers sometimes take overnight.

It might depend on the bank, but I've always had my credit card debited immediately upon order, even if the part wasn't coming for 6-8 weeks.

If your bank said it was successful, then it is 100% done. It takes Warmoth a while to update the order status on the site. I've received orders that were still showed as under review. Beyond that, you should have received a response. It can take time if you caught them over a weekend or holiday, but I've noticed a little slowness in their response time lately (workload issues??).

To add my voice to Updown's, So, whacha buildin?  :laughing7:

That's great to hear. I asked the bank to charge all fees to my account, so the payment amount should be alright.
I'm building a Strat shaped, 1 piece mahogany body with humbucker bridge, Gotoh hardtail bridge and Gotoh tuners, rosewood neck with ebony fretboard and SS 6105 frets.
Haven't decided on pickups yet, I was going for Duncan sh-5 custom and cool rails but I'm not sure if I go with that anymore.
If this one is good, I'm going to build a thinline tele also.

Thanks for the input guys. Turns out that my bank had stuffed up, they called me in and told me that they are working to fix this. Warmoth isn't at fault obviously.
