I must have missed that one.  I got the email, my neck and parts will be in Thursday and the body will arrive Friday.  The worst part of it is that I have Dangerous making me a neck plate and he ran out of stock so he needed to order more in.  Now I am going to have all that stuff ready to go, but I won't be able to finish putting it together this weekend.  Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

I don't have any spares  .  I don't think any of the local guitar shops carry neck plates in stock either.  The only thing I could do is pull the one off my tele.  Maybe I will call around today and get lucky.

I wonder if it was the same train that's delaying the pickups that I need to finish a guitar for a guy who calls me *every* *single* *day* to check on it.  This is in contrast to the lady who's payed me in advance for all her parts and my work but who "wants to be there" when it's strung up and set up for the first time.  I've called her once a week for three weeks.  Maybe she wants me to keep the guitar?  People...

I don't think UPS ground delivers on Saturday does it?  I think your plate will arrive before everything else.

No. At least, not without extra charge. The USPS and FedEx deliver on Saturdays as a matter of course. The USPS seems to be a little harder on packages than either UPS or FedEx, though. But, that could be a local thing. I know some people have trouble with UPS and package integrity, which I never see here, which is why I think locality matters.

If this is the Wolf Point MT that I'm thinking of, then it's gonna take a bit to get it all cleaned up. There isn't much out that way in terms of support and there are few other rail lines between there and Billings. And, hopefully, your parts aren't in the middle of all that wreckage... Eeeekk!
