Yeah, but now they're expensive crap! :icon_jokercolor:Mayfly said:I still smile when someone goes nuts over some '70's guitar.

Under _____ is one, for sure. I won't name the brand I was thinking of, but it rhymes with Fu Fu Femon. Crazy trendy in the yoga community. I've heard some studios will actually throw you out if you are caught not displaying that little "omega" logo on the knee-pit of your stretchy-pants.
Seamas said:I would say that in this crowd at least (mostly very wealthy), I think the Fu Fu Femon wave just might have crested. I don't know brand names (other than Fu Fu Femon) names, but I think some more boutique names are the in thing.
Seamas said:Yes, and I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that is EXACTLY why the trendy ladies have moved on from the brand.
Hey, you know the rules: Pictures or it didn't happen! (I've already got Photoshop fired up...) :icon_jokercolor:The Aaron said:....I literally just completed my Fu Fu Femon wardrobe for the fall.
Alright…The Aaron is the right size to wear yoga gear. If I tried something like that, photo shop wouldn’t even be needed to make things funny. You’ve seen I’m full grown in some of the photos I’ve posted. Elbows and toes don’t get my belly off the floor far enough to do the plank :icon_biggrin:BigSteve22 said:Hey, you know the rules: Pictures or it didn't happen! The guitar industry feeds the same old myths about magical sounds found on 60s and 70s models to each new generation of buyers. A coworker swears you must have a 1954 Strat if you want the “true Strat sound”. No other Fender Strat ever sounded as good according to him. Guess he never heard about custom wound pickups. :icon_scratch:Mayfly said:I still smile when someone goes nuts over some '70's guitar.

Yep...I made some good money in the 90s and early 2000s on MIJ Squires. Surfed pawn shops, made a few repairs and sold those puppies.BigSteve22 said:Yeah, but now they're expensive crap! :icon_jokercolor:Mayfly said:I still smile when someone goes nuts over some '70's guitar.

Being a full grown person should give me a pass on comments on size. There should be a cut off point on yoga pant sizes. The word yoga on the back should be enticing not intimidating :icon_jokercolor:rauchman said:The Aaron said:JPOL007 said:We have some of those gym gremlins here at work. Seriously? Wow. Is there some functionality that FuFu brings to the table that other yoga pants are deficient in? Some kind of safety hazard that is rectified with FuFu pants? Ridiculous....
I've seen some of your work here and it is more impressive than a lot of branded guitars. You are very correct about the job getting done well.TonyFlyingSquirrel said:I'm not at all vain about name brands on gear. I've been playing a handmade guitar of my own design for 23+ years with no brand on the headstock whatsoever.
It's a tool for a trade, doesn't matter what name is on it so long as it performs the job well.

OK, fine. Wish granted.
In the spirit of Halloween, here is me in my Matthias Jabs pants, with the guitar players from hell's Belles, at a Halloween gig our bands played together a couple years ago.
