I'm trying to put together a chambered Strat body with a Spectra Blue top (preferably non-figured maple to save a couple bucks) and a natural tint mahogany body. Is this possible at Warmoth? When selecting any maple top, I can't pick metallic paints, and when selecting a top that supports metallic paints, I can't select anything for the back other than the same paint as the front. Is this a "call for details" situation?

Yeah, most likely a "call" situation. I'd be pretty surprised if they wouldn't.

Call this one in.

Also call in for painting headstocks, and any other finishing questions.

I had to call in to get a gloss finished spalted headstock veneer on a satin nitro finish.

It's shouldn't be an issue since you are basically doing a gold top in a different color.
