Ordered my Dirty Harry!

Okay, I ordered a Rio Grande Dirty Harry tele bridge pup.

Have 2 new questions:

1. Dirty Harry is a ceramic magnet pup (12K). Should I go for another
ceramic pup for neck position? Or there's no need to?

2. With Dirty Harry in bridge position and a mini humbucker in neck position,
should I go with 500K pots or 250K pots???

No need to get the same magnets for both positions. You might want a nice warm alnico magnet in the neck for contrast, actually.
Just get 500k pots, if you think the guitar is too bright swap them for 250s. It won't make a huge difference and it just depends on your taste in sounds anyhow.

I do like nice warm "human" tone.

Should I go with 2 x 375K pots a la Fender hot rod 52 tele???

Pots are cheap, try them all and go with what you like best.  :icon_thumright:

Perhaps even putting small vaule capacitors into the signal to really tweak the brightness to taste.

Good idea... I'll try 500K pots and .022 cap first. If too bright, will try .015 cap.
