Here is a classic that I just got ready today.
Light weight Alder body with nitro finish.
Total Vintage neck with Warmoth radius, 1 5/8 bone nut, quarter swan Maple/Dark Brazilian 59 Roundback with 6105 frets. Oil finished on back.
Tone Pros vintage Kluson style tuners.
Callaham tremolo unit with saddles.
Callaham mint pickguard with the moved pickguard screw.
Callaham aged hardware.
Suhr pickups based on the personal recommendation of Matt Schofield.

We are going to A/B the pickups with whole bunch of different pickups so I'll give a tone report at a later time. My initial impression is very high but I have not had time to A/B them.

Didn't the '65 have pearl dots? I like the look of the cream better.

If you really wanted to go all out with the period-correctness, you could have ordered the body without contours and then cut your own smaller belly scarf.

We did an A/B with 4 different Strats using a Blackface Deluxe running a 2/10 cabinet loaded with Tone Tubby Hemp Ceramics speakers, a Blackface Pro Reverb, and a Two-Rock custom build through the Tone Tubby speakers.  One of the Strats was a Nash with Duncan pickups, and then we used my Mary Kaye, and the upside down Max Strat both, which have the Hendrix/SRV Fralin Callaham special winds, and then this one with the Suhr.  All 4 of the guitars were exceptional with the Max Strat being clearly the best sounding guitar of the bunch! I don't know if is the reverse CBS headstock that sets it apart or what but that guitar is unbelievable.

We really liked the Shur neck pickup and the bridge pickup in the Nash was extremely nice. All of the pickups in the Max Strat killed and I think I'll stick with the Hendrix/SRV for now.

We like the Tone Tubby at high volume but at lower volume playing clean it did not sound good at all.  It is like the speakers really are made to be driven crazy.  The Pro Reverb sounded awesome, the Deluxe screamed and the Two-Rock sounded wonderful but I don't think the Tone Tubby's got the most out of what that amp had to deliver.

The bottom line; aint noting like a room full of great Strats and amps to warm your heart and make your ears bleed.  :guitaristgif:

Which Suhrs you have put? My favorites are the V60LP but all Suhr (singles & hums) are great pickups, smooth with clarity.

I love how the white of the body makes the mint look mintier.  However, Tonar you've set the bar too high.  To simply be impressed beyond words is par for the course now.  Other paint and finish shops need to handicap their work compared to yours.
