I was delighted to pickup this older Warmoth Alder body for 150.00 ( all said and done). Its dated to mid Eighties to early 90's by its neck Stamp. I am going to mate it to an old Warmoth neck , one of the earliest they made dating to early 80's probably dating it by the neck stamp.
The body is 2 piece light Alder with some very nice grain. Neck is a very heavy Padulk shaft with a Macassar Ebony fretboard. I had he neck refretted to 'Jesscer' Gold Jumbo frets. The neck was waxed with high grade Carnuba, and has a nice sheen, but I can't find the Carnuba, so I waxed the body temporarily with some old Johnsons high petroleum distillate paste wax, which doesn't give that good of a sheen.
Got an old late 70's Dimarzio PAF going into the bridge. ;
