I went yesterday. Andy Timmons rocked. His version of strawberry fields was some if not the best guitar playing i've ever seen.

Hey Doug,
it was pretty good! it was really just the regular guitar porn, same as the 3 previous years, so I didn't take any pictures at all.
we saw the first 2 hours of the all star jam. the first part was a lot of Paul Reed Smith wanking though almost as if he has to prove himself as a guitarist.
Neal Schon was pretty good ! we left just before the stratoblasters, so we missed George Lynch unfortunately.

PRS was interesting.. he really proved just how much tone is in the fingers. He had a great rig, obviously.. he would play some riffs quite well and sounded great, then he would try to do something, and HONESTLY SOUND WORSE THAN ME and that's saying quite a lot, and he sounded awful, his guitar sounded like rubbish, and nothing changed.. very eye opening.

That being said, he looked like a weird old man trying to prove something.. it was very strange.

Everyone one else was better.. and Tony McManus was unbelievable.  :icon_thumright:
