Welcome to the club got two bodies sitting waiting for parts and another one that I've been putting together for a year.

Love the natural to color bursts on maple. Have a Carribean and Green need a purple as well. Great Grab!

Thanks guys!

Ok, here's the second body.

On a sidenote, I think I will go with the plain white pickguard on the other Caribbean burst Strat and use the white pearl on the purple one.

Thanks :)

Here's the current Warmoth family shot (I actually have 3 more Warmoths, but they are at my tech for assembly).

Both came out great!!
The Carribean is my favorite super Strat now.... the Purple is a very close second...

They are both Gotoh 510 tremolos.
The one on the blue Strat has vintage style steel saddles (and personally, I recommend this).
The purple one has the more modern design and brass saddles. It sounds great, but it doesn't quite fit with the pickguard. You have to either cut off a piece of the pickguard or set it up as my tech did (see pics).
The bridge has a slight ascending cut (most probably, Gotoh realized it wouldn't fit with a normal Strat pickguard, so they cut the bridge plate that way, so the upper part of it can still rest on the body, if a someone likes a "resting" bridge - e.g. like I do).
It plays fine and sounds great, but you have the modern design being a bit in the way of a regular Strat pickguard - so I'm not too big on this design decision by Gotoh.

The Hipshot American Flat Plate I used on my Strat had the same problem. I keep the trem decked, so I chose the other option, and cut out the pickguard. Yours looks great, If I didn't keep it decked, I'd have gone that way too!
