Oil & Wax in Strat Customer Gallery

I was looking the customer gallery Strat section, and saw exactly the finish I have been looking for.

Does anyone know the details on the the Oil & Wax finish one of the customer put on several Strats in the customer gallery?

I am thinking it is just Tung Oil , but I suspect some stain must have been used.

that is correct, sir Gary,
a little Minwax stain, white (!) grain filler, true oil and wax!

Would a maple body need the stain and grain filler? I'm trying to keep it as naturally colored as possible.
