Always makes me sad when I see one of those things. I had one back 100 years ago that a girlfriend bought for me. I liked it, but it didn't like me back so I sold it. I don't remember exactly, but I don't think she paid much more than $300 for the thing new, and I don't think I sold it for much more than $150. Now they're worth $5K? I can't imagine why. They weren't that great.
Of course, if i'd have kept every guitar/amp I'd ever owned, I'd need a some serious storage space. You gotta move on. Just because you have fond memories is no reason to hang on to something you don't care for or aren't going to use.
