"Number nine. Number nine. Number nine..."

All right lads, sorry for any inconvenience I may have caused. I really didn't think it was an issue. Thanks to Gary for the .wav files, I had no time for file converting tonight anyway.

And yes it's 30th november... I need to stop working so much, it's making it hard to brain properly :tard:

Building a new PC to keep up with Sonar so unlikely to be running in time (writing this on unsuitable sloooow laptop)  :sad1:

I did another solo (this time with my Warmoth) - - since it seems like no one else it doing any. :icon_scratch:

This time I played in the scale I was supposed to use and I even left a clue to my riddle I posted earlier - it's a 4 second thing that happens at 26 seconds in.

I'm in. Will have mine up by the weekend.

It's tough to make a solo interesting over 2 chords unless you're Allan Holdsworth....which I most certainly am not.  :sad1:

Those are my favorite kinds of things to solo over. The more notes in a backing part, the more limited I feel.

You probably won't like the track I'm working on the for the next one. No chords at all. Just 2 notes.

Any backing track is a good backing track.  :icon_thumright:

I really like these communal Solo thingies that we do, so you won't hear any compaints from me.

For me this was one of the hardest so far. No idea why, just couldn't get grooving on it, but I love a challenge and this one had me pulling my hair out at one point :).
Probably didn't help that I had old strings on there and I'm starting to get very tired of my GNX4. Ah well, here they are...

Looking forward to hearing this (except my part, total bollocks, can't play tonight) and the next one  :icon_thumright:

Um, Panthur, I'm not hearing anything at all on the "me only" track, and I'm not hearing a guitar on the other track either.

I've got two solos down now, sounding completely different from each other. I'll probably upload both of them - but tomorrow, when it's not past my bedtime :confused4:

Panthur you're too hard on yourself - it sounds good to me. Sounds a lot like the song I'm thinking of too...

I don't think anyone is going to guess the answer so here it is if anyone is curious - don't click if you don't want to be influenced by the song.

Yeah I originally uploaded the wrong tracks (you were quite quick there hehe). Should be ok now.

And thanks GoDrex . It was probably about the 50th take or something for some reason I struggled to get something I liked the sound of and it got quite frustrating.

You're not missing anything. B3guy thinks Rick Rolling is still funny. Would have worked better if he searched for "rick rolled"

3 days left - should we extend this one a bit due to the holiday, since we've only got 2 participants?

Mine will be up shortly. Having a hard time getting into the groove, as the time isn't constant.

Here we go.

Neck pickup on my Hagström into a GR4 patch: tube compressor -> harmonic synthesizer -> Hiwatt -> Leslie pedal -> matching cabinet. I was going for a Gilmourish "Shine On" kind of tone but obviously thought better of it! No need to extend things, christmas is still far away...?

Sweet - added you to the mix.

Here in the states we're just finishing up our Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Lots of traveling, relatives, etc. Some people might have been too busy to record in the past few days. That's what I meant.

So far we've got 3 soloists, looks like a max of 4... I always like to have more. The more the merrier, IMO :icon_thumright:
