I remembered about your cherry tele right after I posted.  I've gotten to the point that the CBS headstock is the only Fender headstock I like.  The regular strat style seems to small to me too.  I have a friend that got one of those 72 Tele Deluxes that has the CBS headstock on it and I liked the way that looked.  He's going to go nuts when I get this finished and take it to a jam.

I used to be the same way, the CBS was the only one I liked of Fender. But for some reason over the years I seem to have taking a liking to the old style better, and even at that I really don't like it... :icon_biggrin:

And really my fav headstock is the pointy Jackson style, don't know why. Maybe because it just looks so "Dangerous"..... :laughing7:

I can't stand the CBS headstock a lot of times. Looks cheap, since it's what on the squiers a lot of times.

That's funny because for me it's very different. In the early 90's when I started playing guitar the old Fenders here were the 70's, I have never seen from close an older than 68 Fender so not knowing much I thought the old Fenders had the CBS headstock. I like all Fender headstocks though, they are classic, curvy and good looking!
