I've got a black pickguard you can have!!!

Seriously, let me poke around in all my cigar boxes full o' crap, I know that I've at least got some ferrules and other bits and pieces that you're welcome to.

Thanks Rich!

I'll throw some actual picks up later now that it is routed for three humbuckers.  Sadly it wiped out the panda bear between the two pickups in the picture.

Would that neck fit onto that Tele body? Tele bodies have a different neck pocket to the Strats, so usually a Strat neck won't fit a Tele body without leaving gaps. (Can have one made to fit the other by Warmoth, not so sure that can be done when the products are already made) :icon_scratch:

It will intonate correctly.  There are gaps, but they only show on 21 fret necks.  Since this one is a 22 fret neck, the hangover covers the gaps.  I had the same concern and looked it up on the Warmoth site.

Very nice Lucky, I bet that looks bitchin' with 3 hum route....I'd seen it before and thought it would look a hellava lot better with buckers in it.... :headbang1:

Tele bodies can use strat necks (need the overhang as Lucky said to cover the gaps) but strat bodies can't use tele necks...

It does look pretty badass.  This one is going to be painful though as I'm going to have to build it slow.  The plan for now, with help from RLW, is to throw a Texas/BBQ combo in the neck and bridge slots and a Fat Bastard in the middle.  I'm also going to put some LP style kluson tuners on it.  willyk actually found some in a 6L configuration.

I've got the neck and body together and stood up next to my LP.  They're like fraternal twins.

Dude that looks bad frickin' ass with the 3 hum route. To bad the tele route doesn't get totally removed when the hum is cut. I guess if you use pick up rings that'll cover it up... :icon_thumright:

Love the neck too, just not that CBS headstock.... :-\

I guess that's our difference.  I freaking despise the tele headstock.

I am going to get some bocote pup rings from that cat you posted about a while back.  I am going to put in a Texas/BBQ set and a Fat Bastard in the middle.

Oh I'm with ya there bro on the tele headstock. I'm not a fan of it either. That's why I have a W style on one tele and a rev  pointy Jackson on the other... :icon_biggrin:
