Haha, from the description: “No words can accurately describe the level of fail that was painstakingly poured into this extraordinarily botched repair / retrofit job. To be honest, we aren't even sure what the original owners were trying to accomplish.” It kind of looks intentionally bad, like a prop or something.
 
I knew a guy 100 years ago who used a mill file to scallop his fretboard and kite sticks to widen it. Most pitiful thing I'd ever seen. But, he was happy, so whaddaya gonna do? Wasn't my guitar :laughing7:
 
I remember a nice Warwick bass with a broken peghead that was "fixed" by an aircraft mechanic with a hot glue gun.... Of course, once it was brought up to tension the glue stretched like taffy. Had to pick all that nasty stuff out of the wenge neck with an Exacto blade and glued it back together with Titebond…

Honest to God, the client was an airman named Sgt. Mark Slaughter....
