Anybody know of a good noise filter I can use in between my amp and wall socket..? :dontknow:

how about a balanced power supply?

they work in somewhat the same way a humbucking pickup works.

Sounds cool, but I didn't pay that much for the amp.....

that thing is 1000VA and is made to have multiple items powered off of it.

Ive read some stuff about these where the studio guys would claim that they got better SN ratio from any/all gear when the studio was powered off these things. They were talking about hearing things from condenser mics that they could never hear before because of the noise floor.

Furman makes them as well

i've heard good things about some pedals, but i've never used them myself  :-\  i don't have an amp the neighbors could heard if i played on their lawn, so i've never needed anything to PREVENT noise  :icon_biggrin:

hahahaha, that's not quite the noise filter I'm talking about Jay. This is to filter out the 60hz cycle hum from the power coming from the wall socket.... :laughing11:
