The only Fender waterslide decal I have left says, "Fender Telecaster" on it.  With the ongoing logo police controversy, I'm thinking of leaving the "Telecaster" part on there just so I could point it out it's not a Telecaster either.

-Vintage tint taped off to include neck finish only and not binding; didn't know that was an option

That's a really sexy neck, I especially dig the binding & birdseye.  I've had mixed feelings about Pao Ferro but that's a gorgeous slab of it.  :icon_thumright:

Great-looking neck! I'm really starting to warm up to bound necks with block inlays, especially with a 'board like Pau Ferro. Good choices there.

I'll be glad when their fret guys stop being such sissies and start putting stainless frets on bound necks <grin>

I wrote about in the J-Bass section.  As I understand it, the Quantum View email is a UPS courtesy and not a Warmoth courtesy.  I placed the order between the middle and end of March, don't quite remember.  I've never called to check a status, thinking it best to just let them work, and the mods have said if everyone called every 2 weeks that production times would go up, so I resisted.  Well, the estimated window was closing so I called last week.  They said it would be another week or 2.  No problem.  Well, I keep all of my band money in a separate account (which is cool because this is the only hobby I've ever had that pays for itself), and I got some money out to pay for some band merch and I noticed the balance was lowered the exact cost of the neck, but still no Quantum View email.  A few days later, this is what Brown did for me.

How?  The quantum view email comes from UPS, not Warmoth.  UPS sends you a delivery status of something that isn't built yet, let alone shipped?

I always pay by credit card, so I can see that my account has been debited shortly after I place my order, or at most by the next day.

Then 6 or 8 weeks go by as Warmoth does their thing, and eventually I get a UPS notification that a shipment's coming that'll be here in 14 to 16 weeks, depending on how healthy their mules are and whether there's snow in the pass <grin>
