Nitro Finisher in Seattle area?

Hello everyone!

I've built a few pre-finished guitars and basses from Warmoth with good results.

I took a leap and built a set neck Les Paul and I have no means (or interest) to apply a finish to it.

I'd prefer to find someone who can spray a decent Nitro honey burst on a set neck guitar that is within driving distance of the Seattle suburbs.

It will be bound, so it will require some taping and scraping.  If you are nearby, I can contribute some or all of this labor.  I just don't have any means to spray, and really just don't want to mess with it.

I'm quite happy to pay the standard rate (whatever that might be) for this work.

I'm not really looking for encouragment to DIY it.  I've been down that road, and I'm just really not interested in hassling with it at all.

If you, or someone you know can spray a nice nitro burst, please contact me through my email address here on the boards.  I check that address daily.

Thanks in advance! =)

Ship it to Tonar :dontknow:  I bet the man could probably do a half way decent burst :icon_jokercolor:

Do a search for Tonar on this board. He's done numerous finishes for members here, has for years, and I'm sure for others as well. Never anything but stellar results - I mean, he can make even mundane opaque finishes look great, but the dyes and bursts are some of the best I've ever seen and the prices are reasonable. I happen to have some of his work here now on a Fender neck/body combo, so I have first-hand exposure to it and can tell you it would embarrass Fender. But, while he's on the left coast (I think SoCal), he's not within driving distance of you, so you'd have some shipping to do.

I agree; send it to Tonar!!!
He has done a dark cherry burst, a honey burst, and a transparent black for me and they are all outstanding.
I would not consider anyone else for a burst other than Warmoth.
Good luck &  :rock-on:
