New Hammered Dulcimer day (well at least new to me). No pics yet, you will have to wait till I get home from vacation.
Picked up a used High Country hammered dulcimer in a 17/17/7 setup. That should provide more than enough octave range for what I am looking to do.
Got to spend some quality time with the founder/owner of High Country dulcimers today as well.
I had played around with these decades ago, and have been thinking about really learning one for 3 or so years as I love their sound. Well my wife does to and was quick to agree to the purchase. And I got a good deal on it to boot.
Until I take pics, here is a link to it.

Once I improve my left hand technique and learn my way around the extra strings, I am off to learn some Rich Mullins.
