Congratulations on the retirement, Steve. Congratulations on the new purchase, too. The 19 is the best frame size. I always found the 17 to be a bit clumsy feeling by comparison...  :icon_thumright:
Thanks Rob! As for the Glock, that's my feelings exactly, G19 is by far the most comfy auto-loader I've used so far. May someday pick up a G43, which was designed from the start as a single stack, 10rnd, pistol.
I haven't tried a G43. Like you, I may have to do that one of these days.
I'm not a glock person, but I do like the 43, my brother carries on, nice shooter.. :icon_thumright:
I get it. I'm still a 1911 fan. Nothing fits my hand better but new technology has some definite advantages.
I have 3 Walthers and a Kahr

I have my CCW as I have for many years, I wear my sidearm everywhere but in the building at work due to policy, and it hangs in a shoulder holster on my headboard at night.  Never out of reach.

I had a Taurus 92 years ago, then the 100.  That PT frame is based on the Beretta.
Even after having those for many years, I find the slim profile and the overall weight & comfort of the G2 far more preferable.  I also am really liking the striker firing action, smoother pull.

I'm happy right now with my Springfield SC for CC, but this thread is causing another form of GAS  :icon_biggrin:

Same here, I've had my CHL since offered here. I usually have my Kahr PM45 or my Walther PPSM2  with me everywhere I go, except inside the gate at work. Have to leave it in my truck. And have plenty of guns stashed around the house just in case. Been thinking about getting the new SIG 365, I really like the feel and it's perfect for concealed carry..

I'm sure you have it very secure in your truck, but just an FYI, in Florida, gangs of young black males are targeting parking lots of office buildings and other businesses, and only going after trucks and SUV's, quick smash the glass, search for weapons, then on to the next truck, hitting 40-50 vehicles in a day. Officers told us here at my work that they often leave cash, wallets, and other valuables behind, they are after weapons only. Anyway, they say this type thing is beginning to happen in other cities across the country, so be on the lookout.

Our vehicles are in a secure parking lot..
