Hi everyone I'm new to Warmoth I've just bought my first neck, sadly when I was fitting the bushes I managed to damage the lacquer on the top of the back of the headstock, here's a photo

I don't know how to fix it so I could do with some help please

You talking about the 2 lines near the A & D tuner holes ?

If so .... I wouldn't worry to much about it, it's on the back and will be hard to see. Once tuners are on.

But looking at that pic I'm not sure if it's the light on it but is it the top edge from E to D you mean.  :dontknow:

If the front is all OK I would chill out about it  :icon_thumright:
Unless you stand backwards mostly on stage, to the screaming crowd of people, but hey .... their pissed anyway  :icon_biggrin:

I agree with Updown. Chalk it up to experience and live with it. Especially if it's finished with polyurethane - you almost have to strip the neck and start over. If it's lacquer, you could sand it down, re-shoot it, and buff it out, but I don't know if that's worth the trouble, either.

I concur, throw the tuners on & call it a day.  Now that I think of it aside from installing the tuners on my guitars I can't recall a time where I really looked at that region of the headstock again.

thanks everybody I'll just ignore it and get on with playing it
That's the spirit  :icon_thumright:

Don't forget the tuners and strings thou  :icon_jokercolor:  .... just makes it play better  :icon_biggrin:

Don't feel bad, I chipped part of the finish on the back of my guitar putting in string ferrules. Live and learn.
