Thou shalt not!
Play it fretless. At least for a few days.

Wellll that is the big question!!
this was an unexpected buy.. I bought it off a guy on Craigslist who meant to get someone to do custom inlays on it..
I have been thinking of a Cabronita style strat.. or maybe a pine bodied strat.. something weird anyway..
on the other hand, I do have one or two bodies lying around in my man cave, but that is not as exciting as a new body of course...
bagman67 said:I think that bright orange single-pickup Strat body would be a good place to start - and if you install threaded inserts on that neck, you can just swap-swap-swap from one body to the neck without having to worry about opening the neck holes too much by removing and reinstalling repeatedly.
Anyway, looks like you have your hands full. You poor bastard.
Peace

Why do want to try to install the frets yourself???
Mark oh said:the seller insisted that this was a "madagascar ebony" board, so I assumed he meant macassar ebony.
to me this looks like regular Rosewood or who knows, Madagascar Rosewood..
I want to try it myself, since I want to expand my "guitar building" skills.. you have to try something new every now and then, right?
Patrick from Davis said:Rosewood from Madagascar is known as Malagasy Rosewood. It is a beauty, goo luck with the frets
