New Warmoth Video: Does fat neck = fat tone?

I can play almost anything comfortably except for toothpick narrow necks (think mandolin).

There's definitely a difference in favor of the fatback.

What I really wonder though is how it felt while playing

I have a couple of fat back neck guitars and they are one big chunk of timber. I also have boatneck and standard thin. They all feel good to me but the fat back definitely has a full shoulder and maybe the closest, in a shop way to get an idea is to see if any brick and mortar places near you have a Nash guitar with a boatneck, Nash supposedly tries to be consistently .97 on his boatnecks. I am not a shredder, although I try to be able to throw out something zippy periodically if I am feeling it. I can do that on the fat back but, unless you had alien sized hands, shredding real regularly is probably best left to the Wizard and Standard Thin profile. My thicker necks do seem to be quite stable from season to season. But the same can be said of the Modern Standard Thin necks.
