Flame maple over mahogany.
Can't wait for this sexy thing to show up on my doorstep.

Thanks guys.
Will definitely post progress pics. It's getting an xxH pickup config, Floyd Rose trem, single volume knob, all black hardware.
Still grappling with what I want to do for the neck. For sure it's getting a Gibson scale conversion Strat neck. I love the one on my other Warmoth build. Just not sure if I'm going maple/maple, rosewood/maple, ebony/maple, or all roasted maple.

One more question... how many times a day can you check the order status before it's considered "excessive"?

Unlike the photos on most dating sites... Warmoth bodies are actually even more sexy in person.

OK, so, the weather is crap today. And consequently, so is the lighting in my gear room. But, this is it, for now. The neck was pulled from my other Warmoth build just to check that everything works. The permanent neck for this one is currently "in process". It's another all maple Gibson scale conversion. But, now that I have this together, I'm seriously considering ordering a neck with an ebony or rosewood FB- since there are a few available in the showcase now.
Schaller Floyd Rose bridge with fat brass block, Seymour Duncan TB-4 (JB), and locking tuners. It's simple, but it feels like a million bucks, and sounds even better.

Beautiful!

Thanks Cagey. At one point, I had my eye on a birdseye maple neck for this build. But, I remember reading some good advice you gave someone on another post. Something to the effect of "figured body/simple neck and vice versa".

Me thinks a rosewood FB neck will be just what the doctor ordered to complete this one. And dang it, I guess I'll just have to order another body for the maple neck I had originally intended for this one.

Yes. And the dark 'board will provide a nice contrast to the light body, with the dark hardware highlighting it all for balance. Stash the neck for the next project - it'll keep :icon_biggrin:

Looks great! I look forward to whatever you choose for a neck. I do agree that a dark FB (rosewood, ebony, etc) will definitely look good with it.

What output jack did you use a 1/2? Couldnt find a pic you posted of the side

3/4" side jack was what the body came with. A standard switchcraft mono jack required a little bit of persuasion to get in, but it fit just fine with a football jackplate.

So this is the neck I decided to go with. Thanks all for your input.
Maple/Rosewood, Gibson scale conversion, 1 5/8" nut, SS6105 frets, standard thin profile.
As with all my Warmoth necks, I'll be finishing the neck in clear nitro lacquer. So it'll be a few weeks to a month before I have completed build photos
