Has Warmoth done a video explaining all the Tele options? Like, the differences between the 10 different bodies offered (excluding bass)? I've never paid much attention to Teles until recently and it's a job sometimes to remember which one to choose when desiring certain options.

Im also in favor of continuing to protect us so maybe just add a bridge option called “tele half bridge” or something.

Two different names for the exact same rout? That violates the laws of man and nature.

I mean if you want to go down that rabbit hole, tele humbucker bridge has a different location for the humbucker than selecting humbucker and any other bridge route. Its confusing but you do some really great explanation videos as well as the various information pages about all the available bridge routes.

Yep! As I said....confusing enough already.

I feel this option of “half tele” bridge is partly an aesthetic novelty, which is ok. However if I was choosing the most versatile option, I’d look at a regular flat mount bridge like a Gotoh, or the Hipshot one stocked by Warmoth. The best technical feature of the half bridge is that it is backwards compatible with the traditional bridge. There are probably people who believe the brass saddles sound nicer, but it’s debatable IMO.

Hey guys – we have now lifted the restriction in the builder, and the Vintage Tele bridge rout will be available regardless of what Bridge Pickup Rout you choose. For example, you can now choose a P90, Humbucker, or TV Jones bridge pickup rout, and also choose the Vintage Tele bridge rout so that you can use the Wilkinson half bridge.

To facilitate this change we are also now going to add a grounding wire hole under the bridge on all Vintage Tele bridge routs. This way it is there for people who want to use a half bridge. People using a full Tele bridge can use it or not.

That's the riff from an original song of mine. Hoping to release my next album in mid 2025 and that will be on it.
