It was not routed for the direct mount. I placed two metal female "stand-offs" with female threads into the two sides. Then filled with bondo unitl it was flush. It worked pretty good.

hmm. that would make it much easier to pull the trigger on a showcase body that I have been leaving alone cause I want direct mount. damn it lol

Once you sand and paint the bondo, it looks pretty good.

The guitar has a unique sound, which I was looking for. The EVH pickup does have that Eddie tone.
I should be able to buy a warmoth neck by the end of the year... $$$$$
