I love transparent blue on guitars. Looking forward to seeing it come together.

For some reason I had a horrible image of what trans blue on korina would look like. But, that looks nice.

As did I, but it seems whatever colours they use really cover up the natural color of the wood. I thought the same when someone got a transparent green finish on Mahogany a while back, but as I recall it turned out nice as well.

I hope you mean this one.  Seems like the way to go is pigments, not dyes, in the tinted color coat if you don't want to be overwhelmed by the wood's brown-ness or red-ness.  YMMV.


By the way, this tele is my favorite guitar to play right now. Not by much, but still...
