Hi, I am new to this forum, but I just got the UPS email and I am extremely excited, I couldn't wait to post, lol.

Here are the specs:
Strat Style
Black Korina with Transparent Blue finish.
Vintage 6-hole Tremolo
One piece birdseye maple, 1 5/8 white corian nut, 6130 fretwire, 21 frets with vintage tint gloss and abalone face dots.

As soon as it shows up at my door, I will post the pictures.

Welcome to the forum, and congrats on the new axe! I'll look forward to seeing that.

Me too.  This forum is full of Korina-worshippers.  I may have to get some myself one day.  The photos always make me think happy thoughts.

Welcome, Gamelan!

Yeah, blue-on-korina will be an interesting variant.  Clear-on-korina, or the occasional tobacco-burst seem to be the rule, with extremely occasional outcroppings of red or green transparent.  Bring on the blue, baby.

Welcome aboard  :icon_thumright:

You better or someone here will hunt you down  :icon_jokercolor:

Another BK build  :o
Love to see this in Trans Blue, can't remember one being blue before :dontknow:

The abalone dots will go nicely with the body finish.  :hello2:

I'm still waiting on my black korina 7-string baritone.  Ordered it over 8 weeks ago, but no love yet.  :sad1:

I got so excited last night that I spelled Strat wrong in the heading. Doh! lol

Thanks everyone for the welcoming posts! I love how Korina looks, and I used to have a Epiphone Les Paul Flame Top Blue and I was in love with the color. Problem was, I suffer from small hand syndrome, so I had to sell it as the neck was a little too big. When I saw the Korina wood on the site, I knew that was what I wanted and I knew blue would be the color.

Today is the day! I am waiting for the good ole UPS driver. Once those beautiful boxes show up, I will be uploading photos, asap!

I'm happy for you! Few things are as much fun as opening a box from Warmoth. It's always rewarding.

2592x1936? Really? Who do you suppose has a monitor that size? And they're not only ridiculously huge, they're out of focus. Pretty color, though.

I realized they were too big, I am sorry, lol. I hope these are a little better.

Hehe! Thanks for the attempt at correction, but you didn't have to shrink things down to glorified thumbnails. Check your work. I mean, click on what you've posted after you post it. That way, you'll see what others see. If it doesn't make sense to you, there's a good chance it won't make sense to anyone else, either.

Also, F5 is your friend...

Can only load 3 pic's at a time via the attachments. Plus can't view before posting either  :icon_scratch:

Best just using Photobucket .... it's easy  :icon_thumright:

Not so sure on the Trans Blue on the black korina  :dontknow:
Just me thou !!

What colour pickguard & hardware you putting on it ?

I never used photobucket, but I will remember that for next time.

I have black pick guard with aged white pickup covers and knobs. I have chrome bridge. I thought about going black, but I felt there was going to be a lot of black on it already. I guess we will see once it's all completed.

For some reason I had a horrible image of what trans blue on korina would look like. But, that looks nice.

I think it looks awesome,

I know I'll get some flak for this, but how 'bout a blue perloid pickguard
