So, I was at a friend's house because we were dropping off my brother for the rest of the week, and I remembered that his dad had gotten a new guitar. (it was a used Ibanez, red with two humbuckers).
There was an old acoustic in the room, and he said I could have it.
The guitar say "Fransiscan," and is pretty old. I think it's better than my plastic and plywood acoustic guitar right now. He said it was a really cheap guitar, and he hadn't played it in a long time.
The strings were ancient, so I promptly tuned it to no-high E string tuning, and then tried a wierd tuning of my invention to play some songs. The tuning maching on the low E string is broken. The tuning machines are open geared. The guitar has a satin finish, and there is a small crack in the heel or whatever at the base of the neck. It shouldn't affect anything. The bridge has a crack in it, near the low E string.
It also has dust on it.
I'm going to tune this to Keith Richard's tuning. That's no E string and open G tuning? (please correct me if I'm wrong)
