I was rather impressed with it.. The contour on the back feels smaller than my CBS standard thin. But then again it's not strung up... sooooooooo.

Nice, I was going go with no dots but I found mine in the show case, I really like the no dots, but the price I got mine for was just too good to pass up.

That is a great looking neck! I'm not sure about reverse headstock, it really depends on the guitar for me, but man that is a nice piece of mahogany.

I've always loved the jackson's with reverse headstocks, so I thought I'd give it a try... if I don't like it I'll sell it, no biggie.

It's going on a star body that I don't think I have a pic of at the moment...

I don't know if I'd go that far - I exaggerate my distaste - but not having them does sort of dress things up, especially when you can get such fancy fretboards as Warmoth makes available. One of these days I'll have a dot-free neck, but I'm sort of a blue jean baby anyway, so I'm fine with them. I wasn't even aware you could go dot-free until this year, so I'm more than a little used to them.

reminds me of that horrible Jason Becker signature model.. I have a lot of respect for the poor guy, but that thing looks like a toy for a 5 year old!!

If you piss on the face dots, won't you not only still have dots on your neck but also urine?  Instead, I suggest ordering a neck without face dots like James did.

That's true. But, here's a little-known fact: unless you have a urinary tract infection, urine is sterile. So, it's much cleaner than your hands will ever be. Your hands are absolutely filthy, relatively speaking, and your guitar's neck gets coated with the oils, sweat, and whatever other spoonge happens to be along for the ride on your palms, fingers, and nails and holds the various bacteria, viruses and miscellaneous toxins in place that you come into constant contact with. Letting somebody play your guitar is almost like letting somebody use your toothbrush.

So if I'm understanding right, the best way to clean a fretboard is by peeing on it. Do I wipe it off with a cloth, or some toilet paper?
