I don't like a lot of metal, but I really like Mastodon. Maybe they're not really metal .  But seriously, I think Mastodon is just one of those bands that people like even if they don't enjoy that particular genre.

That's me. Not a metal guy per se, but I love me some Mastodon. That a new album is coming out is very exciting...even though I didn't know about it.  :doh:

However, I'm with toronado: that song didn't really blow me away. It didn't seem quite weird or off-kilter enough. Can't wait to see what the album has in store.
