New LP Project

Well, I've always wanted to build a Warmoth LP, and since good ole Fibson is messing things up for us all, I had to jump on it early.  Here's what came out of the box (usual Warmoth quality and awesomeness):

I'm loving those vertical lines in the maple contrasting the horizontal flames. This should look pretty amazing under the stain and tru oil I've got planned for it.

I'll send updates as they happen.  I'm thinking a mahogany LP neck w/ a 59 roundback contour is in order (SS frets of course).  :glasses10:

Color me jealous.  That's just like the body I want from the showcase. 

What color are you staining it?

Going for a satin, blood red stain for the top and doing clear on the mahogany back / sides.  I love the look of LP's with the colored tops and natural back and sides, vs the whole guitar being the same color.
