New HH Ibanez style pickups guitar

I ordered this back in March and it showed up last month, but I had other things I was working on. Alder body and Wenge neck. Below is the 'out of the box' pic as well as one from after the finish was applied (I still have to level sand, fix the neck, then put the electronics in)

BTW, anyone else notice a bit of a drop in quality? 8 of the frets on the neck need to be leveled and there was a fair amount of glue overrun on the fretboard I had to clean off as well. Not my previous experience.

Every neck that I’ve ordered has required significant fret work. Warmoth simply installs the frets and that’s it. Most folks will say Warmoth necks are playable out of the box, but that hasn’t been my experience.
