Yep - even Gibson can't get more than 800 bucks out of those ones...

I've played a vintage mahogany studio a couple of times and though I wouldn't bother buying one, it was ok for what it is, though it was nowhere near as good as my 96 LP studio (and felt way cheaper - not that the regular LP studio is supposed to be expensive in the first place).

you are right. with a maple cap it would have been a great deal. i was misled by the pic and didn't note the "mahogany" in the title itself.
