New Firebird just arrived (large pic)

So after the long wait, and many many dollars spent, the time has finally come for my Firebird project.

It arrived a few days ago, and I'm just waiting on the pups (Lollar Firebirds) in order to start.

Here's a quick snapshot I took. More to come later as it progresses.

Mahogany body & neck
Pau Ferro fingerboard
6150 frets
Non-reverse neck (there was a production error, but Warmoth took care of me so I'll take the unique look)
Steinberger tuners
Lollar Firebird minibucker for neck & bridge

That's sharp! And really, the non-reverse headstock follows the line of the guitar better. The whole thing flows nicely, instead of the jarring cognitive disconnect the alternative has.

Dat is a beauty!!! A wood lovers guitar. I dig the burst on the headstock to match the body.
