sorry for the crappy cellphone pic! Anyway...
a while back I acquired a brand new PRS SE 245 in solid black, it's been my go-to guitar for LP tones ever since I got it, and even more so with these new pickups! I modded the regular-sized humbucker mounting rings by gluing in shims to cover the gaps at the top & bottom of the mini-hums, I also got some screws & nuts from Ace Hardware and soldered the nuts to the bottom of the pickup legs so I can adjust the height of the pickups like a normal humbucker. The mini-hums are a set of GFS Mini humbuckers, a Fat Mini overwound in the bridge, and a mini '59 in the neck, they match up great, and made the guitar sound even better, really fat, warm tone with a lot of bite. I wired it all up with LP 50's style wiring, & Sprague tone caps. Anyway, I'm really enjoying the tones from this baby. :headbang:
