All of my Strats have humbuckers in the bridge.  I decided it was time for an SSS Strat and decided to build a clone of a '59 (mostly - I still went with a compound radius).  The body arrived a few weeks ago and the neck just arrived today.  I got all the hardware from Callaham and had them distress them (no rust garbage, just make it look older) wiring harness from https://www.artys-custom-guitars.com with waxed paper skin cap, and Fender pure vintage '59 pickups.

I'll be finishing the body with Vintage White Colortone Nitro, and Colortone clear nitro on the neck.  I also bought a UV lamp used for yellowing testing that I'll be using to age the finish.  I also had a custom waterslide decal made from Rothko and Frost.  Now all I have to do is wait for it to warm up here and I'll be diving in.  Here's the specs on the body and neck:

That's a fine array of parts. I look forward to seeing your progress with it.

Super nice. That should turn out great, keep us posted! I have callaham parts on a couple guitars. My own sort of "'59" is white nitro (MJT did the finish) with a Warmoth flame and roasted neck, black pickguard, and Klein Epic '59 pickups. Love those pickups and I have a couple of different noise gates to choose from and shielded everything to make "the noise" as low as possible.
