Well your iPhone if recent may well be using HEIC by default, which is indeed unsupported by many web sites (eBay, reverb, etc...)
I have to convert them to JPEG first on the Mac, of course Preview (the basic tool for opening/editing) decides to put a ".jpeg" instead of .jpg extension when exporting which confused this forum thinking it's an unsupported file.,

what he said.  Try just renaming the file '.jpg'.  I bet it will work.

BTW, it's an iPhone strangeness - not a rest-of-the-world strangeness.

Upload your pic to a site like imgur and grab the link. It's super easy, and super fast.

I took the instructions from Stratamania (below) and changed the last few characters to “?raw=1” and that worked for me.

For reference right click on the image on the dropbox site. copy the image link and paste it to the post, select the text and use the icon that looks like a camera to apply the image tags that will surround the link.

That was for your Dropbox hosted photos. It does not really apply to the issue in this thread. Unless the photos on your Dropbox were put there from an iPhone?

Just finished assembly, some setup tweaking I’m sure as she settles in.
Warmoth J bass. Short scale 30”, roasted maple neck, satin finish on tourqoise body, DiMarzio Model J set, deep talk in’ flats. 7.25 lb on my cheap fish scale.

My lake placid blue P bass body arrives Thursday. The neck on the J build was really for the P bass, but the J body arrive far quicker than expected. So last week I ordered a second neck, figuring it would still be awhile for the P body, so figuring at least 8 weeks or so for that neck.

But....

Really wanted the P bass first, so I may move the neck and flats from the J bass Thursday to the P bass body (both are 30" short scale) and go with that until the other neck arrives as I really do prefer a P bass and I'm far too impatient to wait to see how it will sound.  :icon_biggrin:
