Hey guys, I did a quick search and didn't find a thread like this, so I thought I'd start one.

How many of us warmaholics are PC gaming enthusiasts? And don't have anybody good to game with online that isn't 13 and has the vocabulary of a Hip Hop star?

Well if anybody is interested this is what I've got that I'm willing to play, and my ID's and usernames and blahblahblah about how you can reach me.

Borderlands Steam ID: Advoc  Gamespy Arcade login: ircork (this game is awesome)
All valve multiplayer games except L4D2 & Day of Defeat Source: Steam ID: Advoc
FEAR 2 (i havent played the multiplayer yet)  Also on my steam id
Doom 3 w/ the Open Coop mod (been using hamachi so if you wanna play lemme know)
FarCry 2 (Also on steam. although I dont know if it uses steam for the multiplayer servers)
Crysis Wars
Killing Floor
FEAR 1
Unreal Tournament (UT-99, UT2004, UT3)
I also play any all doom games with GZDoom and I just recently got skulltag as well... so if you're into the classics I've got every single one of them. (except the Final Doom games)

I'm sure I've got more but thats a start!

Anybody else.?

When Diablo 3 comes out, I'll play that with you.  I don't have any of those other ones though.

I play borderlands on steam.. I don't remember my name.. so I'll send you an invite when I get home.

I also play TF2 a bit.. I got DIRT.. I play LOTRO.. hmm.... oh and L4D.

I've played a bunch and have settled on DDO.  I used to play pen and paper, but it was really hard getting everyone together for the requisite hours (many of them) to advance a campaign.

Online, I've mainly played a couple of free games - Quake Live and Battlefield Heroes. Finally got my mitts on CoD4 now too and it seems like a lot of fun - I'm called kboooman there. I'm called that on pretty much all games I play.

I've got FEAR (the multilayer on here is really fun, similar to halo)and Doom3 (though I need to download all the patches) although i haven't played either for a long while. If I ever decide to get my computer up and running to the point where it can actually handle more then solitaire, i'll hit you up for a game.  :)

I also have Quake, not sure which one, it's old though. =D

I've got all the Quakes.  I"m having trouble getting quake 2 to run though... still figuring that out.

Hannaugh, I loved diablo 1 to death.  I've been trying to play through diablo 2.. but i'm stuck in the 3rd act, because I kind of stopped caring.. this game is really unbalance and I'm bored.. :(  I think Diablo 3 looks great and I hope it is as fun as the first one, so I might take you up on it.

Unfortunately I'm not much for MMO's so DDO, LOTRO and EVE aren't on my list,  I'm not even sure I"m going to try the new star trek one.. I just don't like paying a subscription to play a game I bought.  But I didn't make this just for me so I wont rain on your parade  :occasion14:

L4D is great, I don't have the sequel yet, i'm waiting for a substantial price drop.  And I suck at TF2 but I'll play it. :)

and like i said.. Borderlands is just awesome.

I love both RPG and FPS games.  Currently, I'm actively playing Torchlight.  I loved the original Diablo.  I am way behind and I've temporarily put on the back burner Fallout 3, Oblivion, Half-Life 2 Episode 2, FarCry (yeah the original), and Thief (3) Deadly Shadows.  What can I say, I'm a old school gamer without a lot of time.  As far as PC games go, I started with the RPG Wasteland.  The original Fallout was great, but not quite Wasteland.  For FPS, I started with, Doom and quickly moved on to Duke3D.  I had some seriously great times playing Duke3D 1-on-1 (modem to modem) with my step-brother.  I played QuakeWorld extensively on the net in the '90s.  I played Q2 at LAN parties until my group got hooked on Half-Life.  All of us were hooked from the moment we saw Elliot Cannon (of Epic Games and level designer for Unreal) personally demo for us Half-Life on his dual proc system in '98.  I played CS on the net when it was in beta.  Heavy cheating during this period in early 2000 killed my interest in online game play.

XBox 360 Elite Modern Warfare Edition console here!!!

Modern Warfare2
Forza3
Far Cry2
Fight Night4
Borderlands
Monster Jam
IL2 Sturmovik Birds of Prey
Oblivion
Terminator Salvation
Batman Arkham Asylum

But the real PC geeks play MYST!!!  :icon_jokercolor:
Have all 3 of them and they are awesome!!  :icon_thumright:

I don't do as much gaming as I used to, but I've gotta say torchlight is pretty awesome.
Essentially its Diablo 2.5... its made by original diablo team members, and you can tell when you play. Looks stellar, classic fun, whats not to love?

If you really want to play Q2, get the replacement engine EGL (http://egl.quakedev.com/).  Just install Q2 from the original CD, patch it, and install EGL to the same game dir.

Plants vs Zombies.

Tower defense without the...well...craptastic game play that is tower defense.  Great game!

We have a customer at the comic book store who works for Blizzard.  He thinks Diablo 3 might come out this year.  I keep hoping!

Diablo 3 best come out this year! Its the 10th anniversary of Diablo 2's release this... July I believe. I remember spending waaay too much time with that game, it was released right after I graduated from high school.
Torchlight is tiding me over until Diablo 3 though, I think if Torchlight's multiplayer was available now a lot of people would forget about Diablo 3 completely until it launched.
