To be honest, I actually kind of like them.
The orange bass strings are really cool.
I'm not sure I would really want them though, it's totally '80s and childish looking, and I really don't think you can be taken seriously using strings like these.
I used to string my old Ibanez with DR Black Beauties and Red Devils, and they looked nice, but now I just play regular strings like everyone else.
I wonder how easily the coating wears off?
Colored strings typically look bad when the coating gets chipped off from playing. The strings would look especially bad if they were glowing. :tard:
Also, I wonder if they grind glowing dust into the fingerboard?

If they made them longer than Medium, I'd totally rock a set of the Orange on my Gecko... but alas they seem to be a lil biased on scale length. Wouldn't do it often though, the medium scale on a 5 string bass was listed at $37 or so. 40 bucks to string up a bass with strings that maaay not last sounds a lil too chancy.

It's good to see the old Fender Toronado again.
I imagine one could build a new guitar with the type of UV lights used in modding gaming PC cases built into the body.
