Neil Peart, arguably the greatest prog rock drummer ever, has gone on ahead.  Died of brain cancer head been battling for three years at age 67.

This one really blindsided me, but it does not surprise me that his health condition was kept quiet.

Kept quiet? I've been reading for over a year that he was deathly sick. His death was no surprise to me.
