Greetings All  :eek:ccasion14:

For my Telecaster Project ( and the small size of my hands )  ISO a telecaster thin neck.

If any one of you guys are changing the neck of your Tele replica  and the neck is a must GO. Think of me. :hello2: :blob7:

Of course ..get on my shoes...after the neck I will need to eat and pay the bills that month....

Thanks in advance

Excuse my lack of knowledge on Ibanez necks specs.

What´s the difference between them ?. I m looking for the thinnest one. Suitable to fit in a telecaster  body          ( standard pocket  dimensions ).

Besides having small hands and short fingers I also have the " vice " of using the thumb to play barre chords...

I used to have a Squier Telecaster and after sometime playing the hand starts to hurt.

So I d heard that Warmoth makes really thin necks. Also my budget is tight and I prefer going to the second hand market.

Thanks

Thank s Autobat.

So you think that the best choice for a small hands...short fingers shpuld be a Telecaster neck with a " wizard " profile.

And How much is that ( if you have one to sell )

The "standard thin" profile is what they typically make which is fairly thin and fine for smaller hands. Wizard profiles are about as thin as they go but cost extra. Some people complain that their hands hurt because the necks are too thin.

What price range are you looking for? They have plenty of necks in stock at US $157 but then you'd have to finish it, and someone's going to charge you shipping to Spain which can't be cheap. Maybe a Mighty Mite or Allparts neck would be a more affordable option? They're all over the place on eBay cheap. Some have a basic finish on them.

And you could always sand down a neck a little more to thin it to your liking. Somewhat tedious but if you're on a super-tight budget...
