Neck relief...

I'm learning how to do some set up work and I have a question. Is it normal to not have to adjust the truss rod on a Warmoth Pro neck when going from 10-46 strings to 9-42? I just made this change the other day and the neck relief hasn't seemed to change. Advice is appreciated!

If the neck still has the correct or preferred relief after changing the string guage and you can see that it is so then there is no need to move the truss rod. The Warmoth Pros have a truss rod system that means the neck is quite stable.  Give it a couple of weeks to see if there has been any shift if any and then adjust only if needed.

You know I think there is a lot talked about truss road adjustments on the Internet in general where there seems as if some folks are making adjustments to the things far more than needed.

I guess what I am saying is don't feel compelled to adjust stuff that doesn't need it.  Of course you may want to check the intonation etc for the different guage.
