Neck relief - warmoth pro gotoh side adjustment

Received my Warmoth parts 2 weeks ago and i'm satisfied with it. But i've made a mistake with setting the neck relief. I've rotated the Gotoh side adjuster clockwise. I thought that will bring a up-bow (warp) in the neck so i could lower the string action.

Now I know this must be done by counterclockwise rotating the side adjuster but when I do that (it was tightened clockwise) it feels loose and I think nothing changed. Is this normal? What should I do?

The side adjust is only for fine-tuning. You need to remove the neck and reset the adjuster. There are instructions for doing that here.
