Neck GAS... somebody STOP me!

I was just looking for an exotic in 1 5/8" and standard thin... and this popped up:

I keep hearing how Canary is awesome, and it's either that neck or I order a rosewood/rosewood neck.

What were your plans?  I actually like the weird switching system, but the neck is garbage.  I put a W neck on it for a weekend, and it improved the sound quite a bit.  I kinda like the bridge humbucker, but the neck single coil is a huge piece of moldy sidewalk poo.

mine wasn't stock at all by the time i got to it. had a mighty mite neck on it (which i hate) and had some weird pickups. i thought i'd get a nice warmoth neck and put a super distortion / virtual solo combo in it. that kind of ended up being what i'm going to put in my warmoth super strat, so now i'm kind of back to square one.

maybe a p-rails hot and a nice single coil for the neck? can't really decide :icon_biggrin: right now i'm trying to fund one project, so i'm thinking about putting it all back together and posting it on craigslist or the gear sale ads here on the forum
