Is there a fingerboard wood that seems to 'go' well visually with a clear (satin) finished Black Korina body? Originally I was all about the Ziricote, but now I'm thinking that it may be better to have a more mellow figured neck with such a figured body wood so the patterns aren't fighting each other. I don't have a tonal preference, going to decide only on looks.
My current short list is either Canary or Bubinga, but I'm definately open to suggestions (except ebony - not a fan). Shaft wood would be flame maple.
Thanks all!
