Neck Finishes

if you go to the site and go to the neck department there is a section called Neck finishes, it answers all questions about neck finishes

I should clarify.  I'm not talking about the standard gloss or nitro finish, I'm talking about finishing the entire neck in the same color as the body, which goes beyond standard headstock matching.  Also, I'm going with maple, so I can't really go raw, even with the low humidity here in LA.

So I decided to give the page another try, and it didn't tell me what I didn't already know.  If anything, I got even more confused.  If it helps, I want a maple/maple neck finished entirely in glow in the dark, fingerboard too.

From what I can tell by that page, and it's fairly clear (you have to scroll down to the paint/neck configuration charts), you can't have what you want. Not sure why, but there it is. However, it's worth a 2 minute call to ask. The neck builder utility can't cover every possible scenario, so sometimes there are things that can be done that aren't listed as choices.

$115 for back of neck & the headstock Only !!
(Maple / Ebony)
Was a price for a solid colour, with ebony fretboard, when I inquired about this a couple months ago.

Will have to inquire about doing the fretfoard the same  :icon_scratch:

As they (maple fretboards) are usually finished in Clear or Satin.

Painting the entire neck sounded like a stupid idea until I read the words 'Glow In The Dark'; then I said "Sweet!" out loud.
