neck finishes

i need some opinions for a new neck guys. thanks!

I voted for lacquer; that's assuming it's a neck that requires a finish... What woods did you have in mind?

But if it was a wood that needed a finish, it would have to be lacquer

If you can spray a lacquer finish, by all means. My second choice would be tru-oil, becuase it's easy to do and feels allright.

I use lacquer because I can't get tru oil.
