I'm starting a project right now, and I don't have the neck shipped in, but my warmoth neck bolts aren't fitting very snuggly in the warmoth body I just received. Is this going to be a problem or will the bolts just need to be tight in the neck?

i think the bolts fit pretty easily and loosely in the body i had. once i bolted them into the neck and made sure the neck couldn't go anywhere it didn't seem to affect anything. as far as i know that should be just fine.

+1.  they tighten against the body and IN the neck.  Hand tighten with a 6 inch screwdriver...you'll be good to go.

It is just my personal opinion but do not use an electric driver to put these in.  I like to "feel" where they are going and the resistance they encounter.  You do not want to overitghten and strip out the pilot holes in the neck.  Do it by hand.

definitely a +1 to that. i stripped the hell out of my neck screws by using a drill to tighten them. i placed an order for 4 more screws with my new build so i can replace the old ones!

Don't sweat it man...your neck will fit the body like a glove and the screws are to be tight in the neck not necessarily the body....thats A-O.K.  do everything on your build by hand....It freaks me out that you guys are even talking about power tools......Yikes!!!!  ..... other than say a drill, if your doing your own holes and such, there really should be nothing that needs a powertool.....Im sweating just thinking about it. :laughing7:
